Job summary

Chroma Early Learning Academy in Georgia is seeking a safety-focused Bus Driver to transport children to and from the center, local schools, and approved field trips. You will prioritize student safety, maintain a clean vehicle, and follow state regulations and company policies.

This role supports smooth pick‑up and drop‑off transitions, while creating a positive and welcoming experience for children. A reliable, punctual driver with a clean driving record is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required depending on vehicle type.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Experience driving a bus or transporting children preferred or required.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle safety and inspection procedures.
• Ability to lift, assist, and supervise children as needed.
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children to and from the center, local schools, and field trips.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained bus/vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws, state regulations, and company transportation policies.
• Ensure accurate attendance and accountability of all children during transport.
• Assist children with safe boarding and exiting procedures.
• Communicate effectively with staff and leadership regarding routes, schedules, and concerns.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or maintenance needs promptly.

About This Role
