The driver is responsible for operating a school bus in compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations while ensuring appropriate student supervision and conduct.

Responsibilities include following assigned routes and schedules, conducting required pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate records, reporting mechanical or discipline concerns, and ensuring safe loading and unloading procedures. The driver serves as a positive representative of the district and must maintain professional interactions with students, staff, and parents.

Applicants must hold a valid Arkansas CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements, or be willing to obtain required licensure prior to employment. Candidates must meet all state and federal physical requirements and comply with mandatory drug and alcohol testing regulations.
