Job summary

The Staffing People is seeking a dependable school bus driver to transport students along fixed routes in Americus, GA. You will operate a bus safely, adhere to schedules, and communicate with the bus shop about delays or issues on the route.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Class B CDL, has a clean MVR, and can pass a background check and drug screening. Prior driving experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive safely along predetermined routes.
• Obey all traffic laws, safety procedures, and transit regulations.
• Pick up and drop off students at designated locations.
• Communicate with the bus shop regarding any delays or issues along the route.
• Check the bus tires, lights, stop signs, and oil when needed.
• Properly operate the stop sign/arm while picking up and dropping off students.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
