Job summary

MetroLink in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Mechanic (Apprentice - Master) for full-time union maintenance. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, and servicing MTTA diesel, gasoline, and CNG vehicles. Duties cover engines, electrical systems, and bus components with regular road calls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, with auto mechanics program or graduation from a diesel mechanics school.
• Three years of diesel and gasoline engine repair experience; troubleshoot automotive and bus electrical systems; possess standard mechanical hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and service MTTA vehicular equipment.
• Repair and replace diesel, gasoline, and CNG engine accessories.
• Repair bus/auto body accessories (doors, engines, electrical units, etc.).
• Rebuild engine parts and other bus parts (brakes, alternators, etc.).
• Repair MTTA vehicles (air conditioners, motors, transmissions, etc.).
• Perform road calls for breakdowns and related issues.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and engines.
• Report to work regularly.
