COTA is seeking a Coach Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of its buses at multiple Columbus locations. Responsibilities include interior and exterior cleaning, replenishing supplies, and operating washing equipment, all while supporting safety and core values.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2 years in maintenance or janitorial work, with CDL endorsements pursued as part of compliance. On-site positions with comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years in general maintenance, janitorial, or automotive cleaning/detailing.
• Read and follow written and oral instructions; adapt to priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Obtain Temporary Class B CDL with Passenger and Airbrake endorsements before start; Regular Class B CDL with Passenger and Airbrake within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Clean interiors and exteriors of buses using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Replenish sanitary supplies in vehicle compartments; maintain clean work areas.
• Operate bus-washing equipment and assist with fueling and fluid replacement.
• Move and park coaches; assist during emergencies as needed.
