Job summary

San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) seeks a Servicer A to clean buses, garages, shops, and office areas, and perform in-route bus changes. The role requires attention to safety and cleanliness in both outdoor and shop environments.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and a California Class B license with driving experience. Competitive wages and benefits are offered. Flexible shifts may be required, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

Must be 19 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
Must possess and maintain a valid California driver's license at the time of application.
Must have three years of driving experience; if resident time is under three years, provide driving records from previous state in addition to California records.
Must hold or obtain a Class B California license and meet DMV driving record standards.
Janitorial and cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize buses, interiors and exteriors, including walls, seats and windows.
Maintain cleanliness of divisional garages, shops and office areas; perform in-route bus changes as needed.
Keep written records of bus mileage and cleaning activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
