Position Details:

• Reports to: Operations Manager
• Start Date: 2025-2026 School Year
• Hours: 6:00am-8:00am and 4:00pm-6:00pm
• Compensation: $22/hour

Position Summary:

Classical Charter Schools Bus Attendants protect and supervise our scholars to and from their homes. They manage behavior to ensure safety, establish classroom-like behavior expectations on the bus, and work approximately 4 hours per day in two shifts. Hours vary by route, but generally between 6:00am-8:00am and 4:00pm-6:00pm. Daily responsibilities include:

• Supervising scholars and enforcing behavioral expectations
• Seating scholars based on behavior and bus stop order
• Organizing student transitions between the school and bus
• Calling the school after the last scholar is dropped off
• Coordinating pickups with parents if necessary

Qualifications:

• Over 21 years old
• High School Diploma
• Experience working with children

Preferred Qualifications:

• OPT certification (preferred but not required; can be obtained after hire)
