Responsibilities

1. Assist students with entering and exiting the bus safely.
2. Ensure safety and proper conduct of passengers.
3. Use restraints and secure wheelchairs as needed.
4. Model positive behavior and communicate effectively with students.
5. Monitor passenger behavior and report violations.
6. Assist in emergency evacuations and ensure children take their belongings.
7. Maintain the cleanliness of the bus interior.
8. Complete necessary paperwork promptly.
9. Present a professional appearance and behavior at all times.
10. Attend all required training and meetings.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (19 in New York).
• Meet physical and medical requirements.
• Able to relate well with children and maintain discipline.
• Professional, diplomatic, and good communication skills.
• Able to lift and assist students when necessary.
