Job summary

Action Inc. is seeking a part-time Bus Assistant for the Butte Head Start program in Butte, MT. You will help preschool children board and exit the Head Start bus, supervise during transportation, and support a safe, welcoming environment where children feel secure, supported, and ready to learn.

You will work closely with the bus driver, build positive relationships with children and families, and contribute to daily school readiness goals with patience and kindness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Ability to work positively with preschool-aged children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependability and a commitment to child safety.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist preschool children as they board and exit the Head Start bus.

As a Bus Assistant, you'll be one of the first smiling faces children see each school day. You'll help create a safe, welcoming, and caring environment where preschool children feel secure, supported, and ready to learn. Key Responsibilities

• Safely assist preschool children as they board and exit the Head Start bus.
• Supervise children during transportation while helping maintain a safe, positive, and respectful environment.
