Position Details

• Title: Burrer Precision Operator - 2nd shift
• Duration: Direct Hire
• Salary: $25.24 Hourly
• Shift Hours: 2:45pm - 11:15pm

Responsibilities

The Burrer Precision Operator is responsible for setting up and operating deburring tools, inspecting parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications and manufacturing instructions, and maintaining safety protocols.

Essential Functions

• Set up, tear down, and manipulate rotary and manual hand tools using documentation
• Inspect parts according to blueprint specifications
• Notify supervisor of any issues
• Understand deburring processes and use appropriate tools
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE

Non-Essential Functions

• Participate in continuous improvement activities related to deburring processes

Qualifications

Required Skills / Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years experience in Hone Lap and Grind

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of proper mandrels, stones, speeds, strokes, abrasive paper, laps, and compounds
• Ability to correct taper, bell mouth, and barrel conditions
• Experience with lapping operations
