Job summary

Fives North American Combustion, Inc. in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Burner Assembler specialist to join our team. You will pull parts, assemble, test and document products according to requirements.

This role supports our diverse industrial sectors including aluminum, steel, and oil & gas. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and experience in heavy manufacturing, with the ability to read drawings, use basic hand tools, and operate overhead cranes to move larger parts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings and assembly instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude to diagnose and solve problems during manufacturing.
• Experience using basic hand tools and small machinery.

Responsibilities

• Pulls parts for products based on bills of material.
• Assemble, test & maintain documents of products based on requirements.
• Strict adherence to quality standards and inspect products per requirements.
• Use basic hand, electric and pneumatic tools.
• Safely operate a tow motor and other electric vehicles.
• Operate small machinery such as drill presses and arbor presses.
• Work individually and as part of a team to ensure on-time completion.
• Use overhead cranes to lift and move larger parts.
• Comply with safety regulations and keep work areas clean.

• Pulls parts for products based on bills of material
• Assemble, test & maintain documents of products based on requirements
• Strict adherence to quality standards and ability to inspect products to ensure they meet customer requirements and company standards
• Use basic hand, electric and pneumatic tools
• Safely operate a tow motor and other electric vehicles
• Operate small machinery such as drill presses and arbor presses
• Work individually, and as part of a team, to ensure quality products are completed on time
• Use overhead cranes to lift, move, and manipulate larger parts
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

• Previous experience in heavy manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and understand drawings and assembly instructions
• Experience using basic hand tools and small machinery
• Mechanical aptitude required to diagnose and solve problems that arise during manufacturing processes
• Ability to use larger tools such as pipe wrenches to assemble products
• Experience using overhead cranes and hoists preferred
• Experience on a tow motor is preferred
• High school diploma/GED
