POSITION SUMMARY:

The University of South Florida's Department of Plastic Surgery is seeking a fellowship-trained hand surgeon at the Assistant Professor level to join our growing plastic surgery team at USF/Tampa General Hospital (TGH)/Moffitt Cancer Center. Successful candidates will be appointed in the USF Health Department of Plastic Surgery and provide care at one of the busiest hospitals in Florida. Candidates must be physicians eligible for licensure in Florida, with completed training in plastic surgery residency and a complex extremity/hand-focused fellowship.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Doctoral Degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate for the field with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, research, and service.
  2. Must meet criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor.
  3. Board certified or eligible (according to current requirements) by the American Board with added qualifications in Plastic Surgery.
  4. Hold or be eligible for a full unrestricted Florida Medical License.
  5. Maintain credentials in the USF Health faculty practice plan and be a member of the medical staff in good standing at the hospitals where clinical duties are performed.
