Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Burn Center 10 unit on a full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am). You will apply the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program
• Registered Nurse licensure in Tennessee
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work nights and meet shift requirements

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates care delivery across the continuum.
• Analyzes patient information to determine nursing diagnoses.
• Uses the nursing process to evaluate progress and apply interventions.
• Promotes health and safe environment for patients and families.
• Other duties as assigned by unit leadership
