Job summary

Mercy seeks a compassionate RN or GN for the 7H Burn Unit to deliver specialized care to burn and critical wound patients. You will perform assessments, administer medications, and conduct complex dressing changes in a high-acuity setting.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage pain, prevent infection, educate patients and families, document in the EHR, and participate in quality and safety initiatives, with ongoing education and advancement opportunities within Mercy's

Qualifications

• RN or GN required.
• Experience in burn/critical care settings preferred.
• Proficiency with wound care and dressings.

Responsibilities

• Assess burn and critical wound patients; administer medications.
• Perform complex dressing changes and wound care as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to manage pain and prevent infection.
• Educate patients and families; document in the EHR.
