Job summary

Medical City Plano is seeking a part-time Burn Trauma ICU Registered Nurse for night shifts. The RN will coordinate and deliver patient-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in the Burn Trauma ICU.

Candidates should have an RN license in Texas, 2+ years in the burn/ICU field, and be able to obtain ACLS/BLS/PALS within 30 days of hire. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient education, and contributing to quality outcomes in a leading trauma center.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas.
• 2+ years experience in burn/ICU or related specialty.
• ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient-centered care in collaboration with medical staff.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up steps.
• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized care plans.
