Job summary

Mancan is seeking an experienced CNC Plasma Burn Table Operator for a metal products company located in Mansfield, OH. The role involves programming nesting with Radan, selecting appropriate programs, and running/planning parts cuts on a plasma burn table. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure are essential as is knowledge of hand and power tools.

Standard hours are Monday–Friday, with possible overtime. The wage range is $19–$24 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Computer programming knowledge.
• Knowledge of PM.
• General working knowledge of Plasma Burning.
• Knowledge of the use of hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying material pick lists, CAD drawings, and operation routers.
• Programs nesting for Plasma Burn Table using Radan nesting software.
• Select programs for the Plasma Burn Table from the company network as identified on routers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Plasma Burn Table cutting problems by replacing tools or altering settings on machine.
• Run and monitor the cutting of parts.
• Remove cut parts from skeleton.
