Job summary

The Department of Surgery at the University of Utah Health seeks a full-time burn surgeon to join our ABA-verified regional center as an Assistant or Associate Professor. The role is primarily clinical with opportunities for teaching and participation in academic activities.

Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care and must have burn fellowship training.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care are required.
• Burn specialty fellowship training is required.
• Interest in academic and clinical teaching is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for burn patients within a nationally recognized center.
• Engage in clinical education and training of residents and fellows.
• Participate in research within academic groups when possible.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the burn service.
