Job Summary

Load/unload or otherwise move inventory to/from trailers, rail cars, barges, or warehouse floor using overhead crane or other material handling equipment, as specified according to work orders and supervision directives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Document and report inventory location changes following specified procedures.
• Assemble customer orders per work orders and procedures.
• Document, tag, and paint inventory received according to procedures.
• Record material information on work orders or forms as per local procedures.
• Participate in special projects as directed by management.
• Perform other warehouse or processing/maintenance tasks as required, including covering for absent team members or managing backlog.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Conduct daily pre-operational inspections and report any equipment defects or maintenance needs.
• Identify and report potential hazards or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain professional communication with colleagues and supervisors to ensure task completion.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Experience in an industrial setting preferred.
