Job summary

Language Services Associates, Inc. is seeking Burmese interpreters to serve the Lancaster, PA area. As a member of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will facilitate language communication for LEP communities across diverse settings.

LSA continuously accepts qualified interpreters for a wide range of assignments. Interpreters should be fluent in English and Burmese, provide excellent client service, and may have 1+ year of professional interpreting experience.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Burmese.
• The ability to provide a high level of client service.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices.
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients.
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner.
• Access to personal or public transport.
