Job summary

Burlington Hyundai in Burlington, VT is looking for a Sales Lot Attendant to help keep the lot organized and presentable. You will photograph vehicles for online resale and assist with car deliveries to other dealers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure new & used vehicles on the lot are neatly displayed and any holes are filled with other units.
• Take photos of cars for internet resale and scheduling.
• Assist with snow removal and exterior lot upkeep; move vehicles as needed.
• Run errands related to vehicle sales (DMV, emissions, gas, other dealerships).
• Keep showroom vehicles dust-free and coordinate with staff for lighting and presentation.
• Support management with miscellaneous duties, including vehicle washing and janitorial tasks.

Burlington Hyundai Sales Lot Attendant# Burlington Hyundai Sales Lot AttendantBurlington, VT 05401## OverviewSalary Range$18.00 - $22.00 Hourly## Description**Role Purpose**Responsible for carrying out assignments handed down by the General Sales Manager or Sales Manager. Maintains organized lot in order to provide easy access for customers; this includes being proactive about hazardous conditions such as snow or ice, and promptly removing any debris. Taking pictures of cars provided that will go on to our internet for resale purposes. Going on “swaps” or car deliveries to other dealers.**Leadership**This role does not manage others.**Core Accountabilities**1. Ensure that new & used vehicles displayed on the lot are arranged in a neat, attractive manner. Any “holes” must be filled with another retail unit. Regularly rotate used car line positions to give an appearance of freshness to inventory. Advise management of any necessary mechanical or reconditioning work.2. Run errands related to sale of vehicles. This includes but is not limited to trips to DMV (VT or out of state), emissions, gas station, and other dealerships.3. Dust all vehicles on the showroom floor on a daily basis.4. Maintain upkeep of exterior of property (picking up trash on ground, etc.). This includes assisting in snow removal as needed and requires shoveling, sanding, cleaning off and moving vehicles, and assisting with plowing.5. Perform miscellaneous jobs within the dealership as directed by management. This may include errands, washing vehicles, janitorial and other duties.6.
