Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. in Ringgold, GA seeks a Burkle Technician Assistant for the D Shift to support the Burkle line. You will move materials, perform quality inspections, document settings, and assist with line changes.

You will operate lift trucks and cranes safely to transport drums, totes, and pallets. The role requires adherence to OSHA and plant safety rules, ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift, and willingness to cross-train.

Qualifications

• Must be able to move materials from manufacturing lines or storage to WIP areas.
• Daily completion of lift truck check sheets and basic computer documentation.
• Must comply with OSHA and plant safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to print, relocate, and issue pallets using USF2 system.
• Must be able to operate a crane for the Hoover Tank Farm to transport drums of primer.

Responsibilities

• Move materials between lines and storage areas.
• Support Burkle line with infeed/outfeed during jams or maintenance.
• Perform Black Box inspections for pallets at Burkle line outfeed.
• Restock totes and PPE for the Burkle Line.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
