Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. is looking for a Buried Drop Technician in Rockwell, NC to install buried copper, fiber, and coaxial cables. This role is safety-sensitive and requires the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, work overtime, and travel overnight as needed.

The ideal candidate will have basic technical skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to distinguish color-coded cables. Our team values technology and customer connections.

Qualifications

• Ability to distinguish colors present in color-coded cable.
• Ability to successfully complete required training, including overnight travel out-of-state.

Responsibilities

• Perform the physical installation of buried copper, fiber & coaxial drop cable.
• Sell and promote Kinetic products and services.
• Train new employees on daily job functions.

Skills

Basic technology and math skills

Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
