Job summary

Pacific Seafood is seeking a Production Worker-Bunker to join our South Bend facility. You will support the production team by shoveling oysters in the bunker, while maintaining safety and cleanliness in a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with food processing equipment, sanitation, and food safety.
• Experience safely operating forklifts and powered pallet jacks.
• Experience with radio frequency handheld scanners and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper methods in all production areas to ensure quality and consistency.
• Maintain proper par levels as instructed to meet production demands.
• Communicate supply material levels to ensure continuous production flow.
• Maintain plant safety by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain clean work environment to minimize hazards and maintain hygiene standards.
• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks efficiently.
• Remain flexible and adaptable to changing production needs and priorities.
• Provide backup support for other duties as needed to maintain workflow.
