Job summary

Custom Staffing is hiring a 2nd Shift Bumperline Press Operator in Sidney, Ohio, offering $22.05 per hour. The role runs Monday–Friday, 1:55 PM–10:00 PM, with overtime on Saturdays and Sundays; 6–7 day workweeks may be required.

This position requires mechanical skill and the ability to operate large presses safely in a production setting. Ideal candidates have prior metal stamping press experience or substantial mechanical experience in automotive or industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and willing to work overtime.

2nd Shift Bumperline Press Operator

Location:Sidney, Ohio
Pay:$22.05 per hour

Custom Staffing is seeking experienced and mechanically skilled individuals for a2nd Shift Bumperline Press Operatorposition. This role operates the large presses located in the back of the plant and requires candidates who understand mechanical equipment and can work safely in a demanding production environment.

Required Qualifications

• Previousmetal stamping press operation experienceis strongly preferred.

First-Day Training

On the first day, employees will work a special10:00 AM–2:00 PM training schedulefor additional safety and Lockout/Tagout training.

The Bumperline presses have multiple guards, gates, and locks. Because of the equipment and safety requirements in this area, additional training and precautions are required before employees begin their regular shift..

Additional Information

This isnot a position for just any applicant. The Bumperline area requires mechanically experienced employees who can learn and safely operate complex equipment. Training in this area can take6+ months, so candidates must demonstrate the experience, dependability, and willingness to commit to the position.
