Branch's Civil Division is seeking an experienced Bulldozer Operator to join our growing team in Culpeper, VA. The role involves operating a tractor with a front blade to excavate, level, distribute earth, and move trees or rocks as needed on project sites.

Responsibilities include attaching implements, connecting hoses and belts, adjusting controls, and maintaining safety practices in accordance with OSHA regulations. This full-time position offers competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of bulldozer operating experience.
• Knowledge of construction techniques.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• DOT experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Fastens attachments to tractor.
• Connects hydraulic hoses, belts, mechanical linkage or power takeoff shaft to tractor to provide power to raise, lower or tilt attachment.
• Operates controls to manipulate tool bars, carriers and disks.
• Operates controls to maneuver tractor and raise, lower and tilt attachments to clear right-of-way.
• Listens for stalling action of engine to estimate depth of cut.
• Operates bulldozer in successive passes to raise or lower terrain to specified grade following markings on grade stakes or hand signals.
• May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
