Job summary

Blade Construction LLC is seeking a reliable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our marine and heavy civil team on a long-term project near Foley, Alabama. You will operate a 700-class bulldozer and other heavy equipment, with opportunities to run excavators and marsh buggies, while maintaining safety and productivity on site.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience operating bulldozers, a valid driver's license, TWIC eligibility, and a commitment to outdoor work in varied weather

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating bulldozers and heavy construction equipment.
• Experience with 700-class bulldozers is required.
• Familiarity with 300+ class excavators or marsh buggies is highly preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• TWIC card eligibility (company will cover cost if hired).
• NCCCO Crane Operator certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate large bulldozers (700-class) with precision and care on marine and heavy civil construction sites.
• Operate additional heavy equipment including 300+ class excavators and marsh buggies when needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and communicate with supervisors and mechanics to maintain equipment performance.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures to protect personnel and property.
• Work under direction from field supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.
• Assist with other labor or equipment-related tasks to ensure project progress.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional work habits on all job sites.

• Must qualify for a TWIC card (company will cover cost if hired).
• NCCCO Crane Operator certification is a plus and may increase pay.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

Schedule
