Job summary

Genesis Energy, LP seeks a qualified operator to assist with loading and unloading barges, trucks and rail cars, monitor product flows, and ensure policy compliance across personnel and vendors. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in transportation and/or bulk terminal industry preferred.
• Knowledge of petroleum-based products preferred.
• Willing to rotate shifts and overtime as required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Must be self-starter and able to work with limited supervision.
• Must follow standard operating procedures.
• Occasional travel up to 15% may be required.
• Ability to assist more experienced employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist loading/unloading barges, trucks, and rail cars while monitoring product flows.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by personnel, customers and vendors.
• Assist in inspections and perform scheduled rounds.
• Document issues and report appropriately.
• Assist in maintenance of assets (tanks, valves, panels, etc.).
• Assist with terminal automation control system.
• Participate in and promote the safety program.
• Gauge temperatures and document inventory; collect samples for API analysis.
