Job summary

KAG in Morton, IL is seeking a Bulk Storage Facility Operations Associate to manage receiving, distribution, inventory, and customer service for a liquid bulk storage operation. The role emphasizes safety compliance and efficient facility maintenance to meet customer needs.

Your responsibilities include loading/unloading tank trucks and rail cars, operating tractors and forklifts, handling samples and storage inquiries, and ensuring accurate inventory records while maintaining professional

Qualifications

• Must be able to take direction and have excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds
• Must be comfortable at heights of 30 feet with fall protection on a regular basis
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Previous utilization of SAP, Microsoft, and TIMS systems preferred
• Must be able to be on your feet for 90% of the workday
• Able to work varying shifts and overtime including weekends and holidays
• Valid drivers license (CDL preferred)
• Must be self-motivated under limited amounts of management to complete all tasks in a timely manner

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles including semi-tractors, trailers, yard spotter truck, fork trucks, etc.
• Monitor safety and regulatory compliance
• Accountable for all inventory records
• Perform customers sampling, storage, and quality inquiries
• Flexible work schedules to meet customer and company needs
• Implement, monitor, and identify opportunities to drive performance improvement
• Unloads railcars according to standard operating procedures along with all legal compliance
• Ensure storage facility is kept clean and clear of any debris
• Follow all guidelines and requirements within individual customer contracts

General Summary

Essential Functions of Job

• Help manage the overall operations of the bulk storage facility
• Confirm compliance of SOPs and routine review and suggest improvements in operating procedures
• Unload and load tank trucks and rail cars
• Deliver exceptional customer service with the daily interaction of co-workers
• Operate company vehicles including semi-tractors, trailers, yard spotter truck, fork trucks, etc.
• Monitor safety and regulatory compliance
• Accountable for all inventory records
• Perform customers sampling, storage, and quality inquiries
• Flexible work schedules to meet customer and company needs
• Implement, monitor, and identify opportunities to drive performance improvement
• Unloads railcars according to standard operating procedures along with all legal compliance
