Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a bulk raw material facility operator at our Wisconsin site. The role involves receiving, inspecting, screening, storing, and loading materials while operating equipment and maintaining documentation.

You will handle railcars and trucks, perform quality checks, sieve analyses, and assist with facility and grounds maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Operate Trackmobile railcar mover to spot and unload railcars
• Document railcar paperwork and perform quality checks
• Inspect and verify product meets uniformity
• Run sieve analysis to support uniformity
• Set up receiving equipment to unload into proper bin locations
• Inspect and verify product meets uniformity (Truck)
• Run sieve analysis to support uniformity (Truck)
• Set up receiving equipment to unload into proper bin locations (Truck)
• Operate wheel loader
• Verify production plant quantities and daily raw material needs
• Load trucks and verify paperwork and BOL for the production plant
• Load trucks with material that will be “for sale” and verify all paperwork is correct
• Verify products to be screened for optimum particle sizing (SGN)
• Manage incoming raw materials and screening timelines
• Collaborate with sourcing to ship out-of-spec materials due to limited storage
• Manage storage space of screened materials
• Maintain and manage screens
• Perform general maintenance and housekeeping
• Perform repairs (with help from maintenance as needed)
• Snow removal
• Property upkeep and improvements
• Perform other job functions as directed by the shift supervisor that are within the scope of his/her training
• This position supports the bulk raw material facility by receiving, inspecting, screening, storing, and loading materials while operating equipment, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting with facility and grounds maintenance.

Description

This facility stores and screens raw materials for our production facility at 4900 Kane Rd. A facility manager and an equipment operator operate the facility. A bulk facility operator will receive bulk raw materials, load them into trucks, screen fertilizer products, and help maintain the grounds as needed.

Rail

• Load trucks and verify correct paperwork and BOL are used for the production plant

• Collaborate with sourcing to ship are out of spec raw materials due to limited storage for these products
