Job summary

Shell is seeking a Process Operator in Michigan to manage packaging and material receipt for finished products. You will work with totes, drums, pails, and tanks, handling loading/offloading of trucks and railcars, and performing sampling and quality checks.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to procedures. The position requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and willingness to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Relevant post-secondary education preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule.
• Ability to work safely with respirators/SCBA and follow safety policies.
• Must pass pre-site access testing and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Package bulk materials into vessels (Totes, Drums, Pails, Jugs, Tubes).
• Receive raw materials and prepare finished products for shipment, including loading/offloading trucks and railcars.
• Verify vessel capacity and material volumes; ensure accurate documentation and paperwork.
• Operate with manual and powered equipment for packaging and blending processes.
• Sample bulk and finished products as required and monitor daily level/temperature readings.
• Follow HSSE guidelines and maintain a clean, safe work area.
