Job summary

Primient in Morrisville is seeking a Bulk Loader to support loading and unloading trucks and rail cars, operate loading systems, and ensure accurate daily documentation. The role emphasizes safety, GMP, and clear shift handover.

You will participate in safety trainings, assist with SOPs and JSA, and adhere to area goals and facility policies. High school diploma and good communication are required, with willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime.

About the Role

Responsibilities include:

• Loading and unloading trucks and/or rail cars.
• Operating loading systems at PLC, including syrup sample analysis and documentation.
• Participation in all safety training, daily safety meetings, and scheduled safety audits.
• Completion of safety initiatives and incentives each month on time; participation in the creation of JSA and SOPs.
• Knowledge of head‑count areas, emergency evacuation routes, and storm shelters.
• Adherence to area goals, principles, and Primient policies and procedures.
• Awareness of hazards associated with inclement weather.
• Startup and shutdown procedures for equipment and systems.
• Troubleshooting and communication of issues.
• Maintenance of safety and GMP standards.
• Clear communication and accurate hand‑over to the next shift.
• Completion of daily documentation and logbook.
• Understanding of general roles and facility care.

Requirements

• Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including night, weekends, rotation/swing shift, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Physical Demands

• Lift up to 55 pounds without mechanical assistance.
• Climb a vertical ladder up to 15 feet.
• Climb several flights of stairs multiple times per shift.
• Stand for up to 1 hour.
• Perform bending and twisting motions at the waist and knees.
