Job summary

Primient is seeking a Grain Operator at Fowler to oversee grain receiving and shipping operations at our grain elevator, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality. The role requires working in hot and cold environments, climbing, lifting up to 55 lbs, and performing maintenance, housekeeping, and routine quality checks, with overtime during harvest.

We value reliability, physical stamina, and the ability to follow procedures in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent experience.
• Mechanical equipment operating experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate/monitor all grain receiving and shipping operations.
• Participate in grain quality control, maintenance, housekeeping, and uphold safety standards.
• Work in hot and cold temperatures, climb and work at heights, lift up to 55 lbs, and perform other physical duties.

About the Role

The Operations/Outside Labor role is responsible for operating/monitoring all grain receiving and shipping operations at our grain elevators.

Responsibilities include:

Operating/monitoring all grain receiving and shipping operations

Participating in grain quality control, general maintenance, housekeeping, and maintaining the highest of safety standards.

Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures, climb and work at heights exceeding 50 ‘, climb ladders, lift & carry 55 lbs, and perform other physical duties.

Ability to work extra hours during harvest season.

Skills and experience required

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical equipment operating experience preferred.
