Job summary

BWC Terminals seeks a Terminal Operator to safely manage unloading and loading hazardous and non-hazardous liquids at our Sioux City site. You will work with tanks, railcars, trucks, and other transfer methods, following strict operating procedures.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely maintenance tasks, with opportunities to grow through on-the-job training and compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security standards.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 0-2 years of terminal operator experience preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• TWIC Card or ability to obtain TWIC.
• Basic computer skills.
• Customer service focus.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently load/unload/blend hazardous and non-hazardous trucks and railcars.
• Complete all loading/unloading per established procedures.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Assist with aligning tanks for transfers and operate valves and pumps.
• Perform maintenance duties and housekeeping around the Terminal.
• Operate heavy equipment, hoses, and similar items.
• Maintain professional communication with coworkers and visitors.
• Identify problems and assist with timely resolutions.
• Attend required health, safety, and security trainings.
