Job summary

BWC Terminals is seeking a Terminal Operator to safely unload/load hazardous and non-hazardous liquids at our site. You will follow procedures, complete required paperwork, and assist with transfers and blends while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires 0-2 years of terminal experience, a valid driver’s license, and TWIC. Expect overtime and shift flexibility as needed; strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 0-2 years of terminal operator experience preferred.
• On-the-job training acceptable for equipment maintenance.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must have or obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Basic computer skills are needed.
• Customer service focus is essential.
• Ability to distinguish colors.
• Overtime, weekends, and rotating shift may be required.
• Ability to operate motor vehicles, track mobile, forklift, boiler, and similar equipment after training.
• Must wear safety equipment including respirator, protective gear, and related PPE.

Responsibilities

• Safely load/unload/blend hazardous and non-hazardous trucks and railcars.
• Follow established procedures for loading/unloading.
• Complete paperwork accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Assist with tank alignment for transfers and blends.
• Perform preventive and regular maintenance and housekeeping.
• Operate using heavy equipment and hoses as needed.
• Maintain professional communication with staff and visitors.
• Identify problems and escalate/resolve timely.
