Job summary

Barnes & Noble, Inc. in Reno is seeking a Bulk Forklift Driver for the 2nd shift to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders for our stores and .com, using pallet jacks and order pickers in a busy warehouse.

Qualifications

• Can pass all OSHA forklift driver certification requirements (classroom and practical).
• Can multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates safe work practices at all times.
• Has basic written and verbal communication and math skills.
• Is detailed and accurate.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Operate forklift equipment safely to store, pull and prepare orders promptly.
• Follow driver training and guidelines.
• Work with urgency to meet daily production goals.
• Assist new hires and transfers with questions in a friendly manner.
• Communicate positively with management about questions or concerns.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Work on the warehouse floor with physical activity up to 50 lbs and long standing.
• Maintain flexibility with schedule during peak seasons.
