JD Heiskell Holdings LLC in Wendell, Idaho seeks a Bulk Feed Plant Operator to organize, perform and complete the listed functions under the Plant Manager. You will operate the bulk feed manufacturing system, handle loading/unloading, assist customers, and ensure smooth flow of materials.

The role requires the ability to climb ladders, lift up to 75 lbs, and work long hours in hot or dusty environments, with attention to safety and attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Basic understanding of computers and math is helpful.
• Mechanical aptitude in prior work history is required.
• Must be able to climb ladders, lift up to 75 lbs, and work long hours in harsh conditions.
• Exhibit good work habits including excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate Bulk Feed manufacturing system.
• Climb ladders and work at heights on top of facility.
• Perform scale weight tests weekly.
• Dump bag ingredients into mixes as formula requires.
• Load and unload trucks in load out area and warehouse.
• Wait on customers as needed.
• Ensure bulk commodities flow from bulk bins.
• Refill micro ingredient hoppers when needed.
• Perform daily inspections of forklifts.
• Perform minor maintenance on equipment including lubrication and adjustments.
• Clean control room daily.
• Clean mill on a regular schedule.
• Pull bag orders for next day’s bag truck deliveries.
• Operate and monitor bulk receiving system.
• Test incoming ingredients (e.g., moisture) and record results.
• Unload inbound trucks and rail cars as necessary.
• Insure bulk commodities flow into correct bulk bins.
• Perform daily bin and rail car inventories.
• Inspect Front End Loader daily.
• Assist with any other tasks assigned by management.
