Location: Granite City, IL (ASP) – Ammonia production & filling

Compensation and Benefits

• $32/hr, overtime after 40 hrs
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (early morning start times) some weekends required
• Safety Bonus Pay: potential earnings up to $2000/yr
• Per Diem Pay: potential earnings up to $1000-$1500/yr

Responsibilities

• Records deliveries and pick‑ups on a load manifest and obtains signatures from customers for receipt purposes. Listens to and resolves service inquiries and complaints. Engages in loading/unloading truck procedures.
• Performs pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, documenting deficiencies, and ensures all safety items are in good working order.
• Maintains neat, clean, and professional personal and vehicle appearance.
• Safely performs SOPs specifically related to the handling of Anhydrous.
• Communicates in person with customers regarding any SOPs.
• Maintains load manifests and all other vehicle documents, ensuring they are correctly completed and balanced with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveries.
• Ensures all safety rules are strictly observed.
• Reads and comprehends Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Is able to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours; frequent bending also required.
• Some overnight stays may be required on a limited basis.
• Uses advanced fleet technology such as Onboard Computers, collision avoidance, and camera systems.

Qualifications

• At least 25 years old.
• Class A CDL with at least 2 years of CMV experience, within the last 4 years; tanker/hazmat endorsements required before hire date.
• Graduation from an accredited truck‑driving school with a diploma counts as 1 year of required experience.
• No preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• No more than 2 minor tickets in the previous 3 years.
• No serious violation ticket (speeding >15, reckless driving, etc.) in the previous 3 years.
• No CDL suspensions in the previous 3 years except "Failure to pay child support."
• No DUI in the last 7 years.
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs. or more.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Tanker experience preferred.
