Job summary

Chedraui USA's El Super #3 in Commerce, CA is hiring a Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk. Under direct supervision, you provide friendly, courteous service and help customers while stocking and rotating cheese and deli displays.

Two shifts are available; morning shift focuses on replenishment and assisting customers, while the clerk keeps the department clean and organized. A Food Handler Card is required; this is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous service to customers and maintain cheese and deli displays.
• Assist with replenishment of stock and support Bulk Deli Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Bulk Deli area throughout shifts.
• Follow store policies and safety guidelines.
