Job summary

El Super #45 in Oceanside, CA is hiring a Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk to join our store operations team. You will assist customers, stock and rotate the cheese and deli displays, and keep the department clean and welcoming for guests during two shifts.

Starting pay is $17.75 per hour. A Food Handler Card is required for food-related roles. We offer a friendly team, opportunities for growth, and a commitment to serving our diverse community with value and quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information effectively to customers and coworkers.
• Lift up to 60 pounds as needed.
• Food Handler Card or equivalent may be required for food-related positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers throughout the shift in the Bulk Deli.
• Clean, fill and rotate cheese and deli displays.
• Maintain department cleanliness during shift.
• Work two shifts; morning replenishment per Bulk Deli Manager’s instructions.
