El Super, part of the Chedraui USA family, invites you to join Store Operations as a Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk in South Gate, CA. You will help customers, stock and rotate cheese displays, and ensure quality at the Bulk Deli.

This full-time role requires physical stamina (lifting up to 60 lbs), basic PC skills, and a Food Handler Card. The starting rate is $16.90 per hour, with equal opportunity employment.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision the Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful service. This position assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli.
The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk position consists of two different shifts. The morning shift begins the day replenishing product, as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager, in a specifically assigned area. The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk is responsible for assisting customers throughout the entire shift. The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerks will also maintain the cleanliness of the department throughout the shift.
The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
