You will operate tractor–trailer combinations, perform daily maintenance, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensure proper unloading, and uphold safety policies

Responsibilities

• Transport bulk cement, fly ash, and slag from ports to company locations safely and on schedule.
• Operate tractor–trailer combinations in compliance with DOT and company safety rules.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and keep the truck clean.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and in-route inspections of vehicles and loading.
• Verify cargo type and destination before transport.
• Coordinate with dispatch on routes and delivery status.
• Return delivery tickets and documentation promptly and maintain customer relations.
