Knife River Corporation is hiring a Bulk Cement Tanker Driver to safely transport, load and unload cement while inspecting and maintaining equipment. You will use truck tracking software and coordinate with dispatch to meet daily schedules in a fast paced environment.

Role requires a CDL A with tanker endorsement, a clean driving record, and a willingness to work overtime, nights and weekends. Benefits include health, retirement and paid time off as part of a people-first team.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with tanker endorsement is required.
• Maintain licensure and medical card with clean driving record.
• Self-motivated, team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Bulk truck driving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
• Properly load and unload bulk cement materials.
• Ensure proper use of truck tracking software.
• Coordinate with central dispatch and plant supervisor for daily schedule.
• Comply with OSHA, DOT, EPA, MSHA, and related safety regulations.
• Work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance and safety-focused conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Bulk Cement Tanker Driver safely transports, loads, and unloads bulk cement while conducting thorough vehicle inspections, maintaining equipment, and utilizing truck tracking software to ensure efficient operations.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES (summary of components that make up the job)

• Perform accurate daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.
• Properly load and unload material.
• Ensure proper use of truck tracking software.
• Work with central dispatch and plant supervisor for daily schedule.
• Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, MSHA, Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental regulation compliance including attending safety and required training.
• Available to work as needed, overtime, nights, and weekends.
• Regular attendance required.
• Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (minimum educational, experience, or other relevant job requirements)

• Must have a CDL Class A (tractor-trailer) license with tanker endorsement.
• Must be able to maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record.
• Must be self-motivated, team-player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous and respectful toward others.
• Bulk truck driving experience, preferred.
