Job Overview

Location: Jonesborough & Gray, TN areas

Pay: $41,200 to $47,300 annually

The Bulk Account Merchandiser (BAM) is responsible for selling, ordering, and presenting products. The role involves selling new products and promotions, collaborating with customers to generate accurate product orders, ensuring execution of commercial plans, and merchandising products and packages following safety and quality guidelines.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage, sell, and execute in an assigned group of customers on daily, pre-set routes, generating sales orders based on delivery frequency to ensure operational success and contribute to the company's financial performance.
  • Implement promotions and new products based on target lists, monthly initiatives, marketing promotions, POS, and commercial plans to ensure excellence in execution scores.
  • Fill, merchandise, and rotate products on display and shelves according to procedures and programs.
  • Organize and maintain back room inventory, including stacking, arranging, and managing returns and damaged products.
  • Create and distribute point-of-sale materials, rotate products, and ensure proper operation of vendor equipment.
  • Build and maintain business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, pricing, programs, and opportunities.
  • Identify and communicate any market or competitive issues that could impact the business, and perform all duties safely.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repeatedly).
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Secondary education beyond high school preferred.
  • High initiative and willingness to learn.
  • Career-mindedness and a competitive nature.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid in-state driver's license.
  • Excellent driving history.
  • Proof of insurance covering liability and property damage, with specified coverage limits.
  • High School diploma or GED.
