In the sales role of ‘Therapeutic Advisor Cardiometabolic Health’, you will manage and expand our customer base in your region. Key audiences include internists, diabetes nurses, hospital pharmacists, and general practitioners. You play a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals regarding our medicines. You will work closely with colleagues in your region (Sales, Marketing, Medical Science Liaison, Nurse Consultant) to achieve our goals.

Responsibilities:

• You will be the diabetesspecialist in the South-West Netherlands region (North Brabant/Zeeland), focusing on hospitals and GPs.
• You will be responsible for the territory and account strategies, operational planning, customer interactions, and projects.
• You will organize meetings, follow up on activities, and build long-term relationships with clients.
• You will add value to clients by discussing which patients benefit most from our medicines, providing scientific information, and collaborating with accounts and healthcare providers to improve patient care.
• You will maintain knowledge within your therapeutic area and keep it current.
• You will participate in regional scientific activities and attend national congresses.
• You will develop and implement territory plans with a cross-functional team, prioritizing investments to achieve results.
• You will adapt to a rapidly evolving environment, recognizing market needs and opportunities, and employing an omnichannel approach (F2F, digital solutions, scientific articles, etc.).
• You will work independently with HCPs and cross-functional teams to set up and manage projects, tracking results.
• You will collaborate closely with internal teams, such as the Brand Team.
• You will represent Lilly confidently, take ownership, be curious, creative, and proactive in solving challenges like access issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master's degree
• Experience in a similar role within a pharmaceutical company
• Experience and network in Cardiometabolic Health is a plus, both in hospitals and general practice
• Strong involvement and knowledge in Cardiometabolic Health
• Resident of the Netherlands, living in South-West Netherlands
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
• Valid driver’s license B
• Patient-oriented, able to communicate and build relationships
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
• Interest in translating science into meaningful clinical insights
• Entrepreneurial optimism
