Job summary

Vets Hired is seeking a Working Carpenter Foreman to plan, organize, and supervise journeyman-level carpentry on construction projects. You will lead on-site teams, coordinate activities, maintain quality, and ensure safety and efficiency on-site.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of carpentry, remodeling, masonry, and concrete, and willingness to travel. Healthcare construction experience and certifications (OSHA 30, ICRA) are highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Experience with rough and finish carpentry, remodeling, masonry, concrete, and wood construction.
  • Healthcare construction experience is preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification and ICRA certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Ability to pass background screening and drug testing.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Job Summary

The Working Carpenter Foreman is responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and performing journeyman-level carpentry work on construction and renovation projects. The role leads on-site teams, coordinates project activities, maintains quality standards, interacts with clients, and ensures construction work is completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) procedures is a plus.
  • Healthcare construction experience is preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification and ICRA certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Ability to pass background screening and drug testing.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
