Job description

FRAME Technical Services, LLC is seeking building and construction trades represented personnel to provide worker trainer support on an as-needed basis for the following training programs at the HAMMER Facility located in Richland, WA. The successful candidates will be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individuals who can work well on a team as well as independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Hazardous Waste/HAZWOPER
  • Respiratory Protection
  • Hoisting & Rigging/Forklift
  • Load Securement
  • Electrical Safety
  • Lockout Tagout (LOTO)
  • Beryllium

Schedule: Typical work schedule is a 4x10, working Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities Include:

The job of the building trades worker trainer(s) is to be involved in all phases of course development and training fellow workers to work more safely by understanding course concepts and relating workplace procedures/processes to those concepts. In addition, he/she teaches knowledge-based objectives in a traditional classroom and hands-on activities.

Required Qualifications:

The lower-tier subcontractor employee(s) shall be a Building Trades represented employee with a CWB&CTC affiliate.

  • The lower-tier subcontractor employee(s) proposed must be a journeyperson in good standing of a Central Washington Building & Construction Trades Council (CWB&CTC) affiliate. To be a journeyperson “in good standing” means that the journeyperson is current on his/her union dues and eligible to accept a call from his/her union. Documentation stating such from the Local Business Agent or Manager of the relevant union shall be provided by the Subcontractor for any individuals proposed at the time of proposal submittal.
  • The lower-tier subcontractor employee(s) shall have a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED).
  • The lower-tier subcontractor employee(s) shall have a minimum of two (2) cumulative years of DOE Complex experience performing the work covered by the training program for which he/she is applying.

Experience must be consistent with the material being presented.
