Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking a Building Technician I to assist senior technicians in maintaining and operating building systems. Responsibilities include HVAC, water for injection, purified water systems, and process equipment to ensure safety and compliance.

You will help troubleshoot, maintain inventory of tools, and support engineers in efficiency efforts. The role supports a Monday–Friday schedule, 7am–4pm, with growth opportunities in a premier MEP company serving facilities across Texas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Craft training preferred.
• 0-2 years of related maintenance experience.
• Fundamentals of general building maintenance.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technicians to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Use standard tools and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Support facility team goals and safety policies.
• Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs to improve reliability.
• Participate in process improvements with engineers.
