Job summary

A leading hospitality management company is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician in New Bern, NC. The successful candidate will perform building repairs and maintenance, maintain cleanliness of the facility, and possess skills in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. An associates degree or equivalent experience is required. The role involves both technical and custodial duties to ensure excellent service for residents and members. Fairfield Harbour Landscape is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Building Maintenance Technician. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to this Troon managed Club and its members.

Key Responsibilities of the Building Maintenance Staff:

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
• Identifies and reports needed supplies to supervisor.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Building Maintenance Staff:

Associates degree or two years of related experience associated with Building maintenance.

Other Qualifications:

• Possesses knowledge in operating electrical, plumbing, HVAC and pool equipment.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Candidate needs to be skilled in-home repair, such as drywall repair, painting, plumbing, light electrical, etc. This person will have great troubleshooting abilities and will be required to identify maintenance and repair issues in order for us to provide the best community amenities possible. We are dedicated to providing the best experience for our residents as possible, so this person must be willing to perform custodial duties when repairs aren't necessary. Good customer service and positive attitude will be a must for this position.
