Job summary

UPS is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust plant floor devices to keep conveyors and equipment running smoothly. You will handle calls, assist mechanics with repairs, and address daily plant issues to sustain operation quality.

Qualifications

Job Summary:

This position troubleshoots, calibrates, and adjusts plant floor devices as necessary to maintain optimal performance of plant floor equipment. This position sorts calls and breakdowns and expedites their completion. This position provides information to maintenance mechanics on how to complete required repairs to resolve breakdown situations. This position assists in solving the daily problems inherent in keeping the conveyors or physical facility in good working order.

• Troubleshoots problems that arise.
• Performs preventative maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in engineering - Preferred

Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $32.00/hr to $59.71/hr. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate's work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
