Job summary

Wickliffe City Schools is seeking a Building Substitute Teacher to support PK-12 learners on an on-call basis. You will facilitate learning, identify student needs, and align instruction with curriculum guidelines while maintaining an orderly classroom.

Applicants should hold a State of Ohio Educator License, have a current BCI/FBI background check, and preferably a Bachelor's degree. Compensation is $175.00 per day with employee health care options.

Job Summary: Facilitate learning by identifying and understanding individual characteristics of all students taught and present subject matter accordingly. Manage the classroom by organizing it to stimulate learning and to foster discipline; make professional decisions about what to teach based on available curriculum guidelines.

Working Conditions

The Wickliffe Schools Campus serves grades PK-12 with an enrollment of approximately 1200 students. Wickliffe Lower School (PK-6) and Wickliffe Upper School (7-12).
